Before opening your mouth, your hair, shoes, watch, and suit explains your finances to whoever is in front of you. They will value your product or service in the same way. They will also assume if dressed poorly nobody is purchasing your product. Because if they were, you would be making more financially and therefore you wouldn’t dress the way you appear.
